Long ago, to build a network marketing business you had to setup an office, house, or a hotel to have a meeting. These meetings would be an opportunity presentation and the better the speaker, the better the signup ratio.

The goal of using facebook is to build up a profile of others that would be interested in your products or service. Family and friends are usually not the best to have in your profile. Other people who are interested in either a home based business, or network marketing are the best. Do a search on facebook groups for people who show interest in network marketing. If they are posting information, or commenting in these groups. Then these are the ones you want to have in your profile.
Each day you want to be adding friends to your profile. I try and shoot for 20 per day. But it?s important you do this right. Facebook has been cracking down on people who they feel are adding to many friends to fast.
When you search the groups for people interested in network marketing. Send them a message that has their name and the group they are posting in. And then send the friend request. 99% of the people are not doing this and it will show to the other people that you are actually trying to connect with them. You will then more likely get a confirm back from that person.

Posting your link to your opportunity is not creating value. Creating value is teaching others how to do stuff. If you have skill then teach others that skill. If for example you know how to setup a blog. Each day post information about how to setup a blog. How to generate leads using that blog. Or how to write content for that blog. This will be great value to others and people will be more likely to want to click on your other offers. If you are creating 90% value and adding in your opportunity link 10%. People will love you for it and want to join your MLM business.
